WWWWWWWWWWWWW That's the season so far and as far as I gathered from everyone who bounced into the club on Saturday the Hafodyrynys game was the performance of the season so far Finished 21-3 to Machen! 7 to go! Can they make it an invincible's season, the story continues next Saturday at home!
Onto Sunday and the juniors in some shocking conditions! 🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉 👏👏👏 Outstanding performance from 1 to 15 today in very difficult conditions against a gutsy Penallta side who pushed us all the way and made sure we were switched on for the full game. Probably one of our best all round performances of the season so far. With a huge effort up front and some excellent work behind from the backs delivered a thoroughly deserved 27 - 5 win. Could have been more as we left at least two tries out there. Scores came from Josh Hart x4 and like Logan George a few weeks ago a try scoring debut from Harry Hawthorne, and with Declan Nott slotting one conversion. Martyn, Ken, Clare and myself are extremely happy 😊 for the lads as they've had it rough the last couple of months and all the work and effort 💪 they've been putting in paid off today. 👍

Last week was all about attack, this week was all about defence.
Need to cut down the penalty count though.
Well done though lads, considering the conditions i thought the standard of rugby from both sides was top notch. Lets keep this run going now.
